Note de la rédaction. Le concours commun des instituts nationaux polytechniques (CCINP), anciennement concours communs polytechniques (CCP), sont des concours d’entrée dans 72 écoles d’ingénieurs françaises, dont celles faisant partie du Groupe INP, du Groupe ISAE, de la Fédération Gay-Lussac, et du Réseau Polyméca. Ils sont ouverts aux étudiants en Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles (CPGE/1er Cycle universitaire). Par ailleurs, il existe un concours PASS'Ingénieur (Passerelle nationale d'intégration dans les écoles d'ingénieurs) destiné aux étudiants en licences scientifiques. Cependant, les écoles accessibles ne sont pas les mêmes selon la provenance des élèves. La passerelle nationale d'intégration dans les écoles d'ingénieurs est un concours, le Concours PASS'Ingénieur, qui permet aux étudiants de L2 ou L3 d'intégrer une école d'ingénieurs. Ce concours est organisé par le Concours commun INP. Il est destiné à ceux qui souhaitent poursuivre leurs études dans un cursus de trois ans au sein d'écoles qui recrutent principalement au niveau prépa. Ce concours permet l’admission des élèves-ingénieurs sur les programmes des classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles pour les filières mathématiques et physique (MP), mathématiques, physique et informatique (MPI), physique et chimie (PC) (option physique PH ou chimie CH), physique et sciences de l'ingénieur (PSI), physique et technologie (PT), technologie et sciences industrielles (TSI) et technologie, physique et chimie (TPC). La forme actuelle de ce concours date de 2004. Pass Ingénieur. Ce concours est réservé aux étudiants ayant validé quatre semestres de Licence (L2, DEUG) dans le domaine des „Sciences et Technologies” et à ceux qui les auront la même année du concours. Les élèves de CPGE n’ont cependant pas le droit de le passer. Certaines universités assurent une préparation spécifique à ce concours (CUPGE). La forme actuelle de ce concours date de 2018. Il existe trois filières: Mathématiques-Informatique (MI), Mathématiques-Physique (MP), Physique-Chimie (PC), avec des épreuves communes. Un candidat n'est autorisé à s'inscrire qu'à une seule filière du concours par session. Ces différents concours sont composés d'épreuves écrites et orales. Le Lycée Pierre-de-Fermat (fondé en 1806 lors de la création des lycées impériaux par Napoléon Bonaparte et qu'il succédait à des établissements d'enseignement bien antérieurs à cette époque) est un établissement d'enseignement secondaire et supérieur, situé parvis des Jacobins à Toulouse à proximité immédiate de la place du Capitole. Il occupe un espace considérable dans le centre-ville dont l'hôtel de Bernuy Il est attenant au cloître et à l'église des Jacobins. Avec presque 1.000 étudiants en Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles (CPGE), c’est l’une des prépas françaises les plus prestigieuses (en 2022, elle était classée 2e en PSI/PSI* et 6e en Prépa Littéraire A/L Khâgne en 2024, elle était classée première en MPI/MPI* au classement de l'étudiant). C'est également une des trois seules prépas françaises à proposer un cursus de Classes Préparatoires à l'École des Chartes de section A avec le Lycée Henri-IV à Paris et le Lycée Fustel-de-Coulanges à Strasbourg. Il abrite également deux classes d'ECS (Economiques et Commerciales) eu une classe de BCPST (Classe Préparatoire Biologie, Chimie, Physique et Sciences de la Terre) est une des voies d'orientation en première année post-bac, anciennement appelée Maths sup bio, et seconde année, anciennement appelée Maths spé bio, de la filière des classes préparatoires scientifiques. Voici la Banque d'épreuve orale de Mathématiques–Session 2025, pour les CPGE Filières MP (Maths–Physique) & MPI (Maths–Physique–Informatique) Le Lycée Fermat à Toulouse propose des classes préparatoires scientifiques MPI/MP2I (Mathématiques, Physique, Informatique/Mathématiques, Physique, Ingénierie, Informatique) et MPI* (option étoile, plus sélective). Ces filières préparent aux concours d'entrée des écoles d'ingénieurs, notamment les plus prestigieuses comme l'X (Polytechnique) et les écoles du concours Mines-Ponts.
